Time for the first slogans

The 1930s saw the modernization of a chocolate plant and investments in new candy machines. The Union Factory began to follow trends and launch the first slogans.

No matter where, Ki-Ki is everywhere!

Ratko Zvrko, a well-known children’s author, then only a schoolboy, devised a famous slogan 'No matter where, Ki-Ki is everywhere!'  The slogan is still very popular in south-eastern Europe.

1936

The first candy with a line

The production of candies with a line began, for which special new machinery was purchased.

1938

The thinnest chocolate bar in the world

A thin chocolate bar of 15 g – a forerunner of today’s Animal Kingdom – was put into production.
