Energy management

Energy is essential for operations of all kinds of industrial or other organisations, regardless of their scope of business, and can be a major operating cost for any business. Apart from its economic cost for the organisation, energy over-consumption can cause damage to the environment and huge losses for the wider community due to depletion of natural resources and contribution it makes to global warming and climate change. Global implementation of the ISO 50001 standard will contribute to the more efficient use of available energy resources, enhanced competitiveness, reduction in greenhouse gas emissions and other related environmental impacts.

In 2016, a step further towards future improvements in energy efficiency was taken. By fulfilling the requirements of the ISO 50001 standard, we have established and certified the energy management system to consistently regulate the issues of monitoring, measuring and consumption of energy resources: electricity, gas and water.
